The Chamber of Trade and Industry (CTI) has urged INDIA bloc leaders to postpone their November 1 rally at Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan until after Diwali, warning of major business losses and traffic disruption in central Delhi. The traders’ body estimates that daily business worth Rs 10,000–12,000 crore across 20 major markets could be affected if thousands of vehicles and lakhs of people converge in the area. CTI Chairman Brijesh Goyal has appealed to opposition leaders, including Akhilesh Yadav, Mamata Banerjee and Tejashwi Yadav, to convince Rahul Gandhi to defer the rally. The organisation has also suggested shifting the event to Burari Ground if the November 1 programme goes ahead.#indiabloc #delhirally #ramlilamaidan #delhinews #diwali2026 #chandnichowk #rahulgandhi #CTI #delhitraffic #traders #businessnews #SIR
