Colombo is set to experience a musical tribute to the King of Pop as internationally acclaimed tribute artist Lenny Jay takes the stage in ‘This Is Michael – Relive the Legend’ at The Podium, City of Dreams Sri Lanka. The two-night concert opens on November 8, followed by a second performance on November 9.
Presented by Cinnamon Box Office of City of Dreams Sri Lanka, the show brings the music, dance and iconic stage performances of Michael Jackson to life. Featuring Lenny Jay, the production promises to recreate some of the memorable moments of the legendary entertainer’s career, offering audiences an opportunity to relive the music and energy of one of the world’s greatest pop icons.
Concertgoers are encouraged to arrive early and make the most of the evening at City of Dreams Sri Lanka, where the experience extends beyond the concert itself. Visitors can enjoy a snack, take in the sunset and Colombo skyline or explore Cinnamon Life’s collection of more than 1,000 commissioned artworks by Sri Lankan artistes before the show begins. It offers an opportunity to enjoy the venue and its attractions before settling in for the music.
The evening need not end with the final performance, as concertgoers can continue their night at Gatz, Flux or ‘Dreams & Beats’ or enjoy a meal at one of the many dining outlets at Cinnamon Life, including Yoroko, Staten Bar & Grill, Indiya and Sapphire Dragon.
Adding to the experience, guests can enjoy a 20% discount on food and beverage purchases at participating Cinnamon Life outlets on the respective concert dates. The offer is available for dine-in customers, excluding Quizine, In-Room Dining and Sweet Lab.
For those seeking a closer experience, VIP tickets are priced at Rs. 20,000/-, while Dance Floor Access tickets are available at Rs. 7,500/-. The latter gives fans an opportunity to get closer to the stage and enjoy Michael Jackson’s greatest hits. Food and beverages will also be available for purchase at the Forum Exhibition Centre, close to the concert venue, on both nights.
